Your name, not your number
A post shows the name you choose to publish. Your account phone number and email are never shown on the site — please don't put personal contact details in a post either. Business numbers belong on the Business Directory.

House rules for MySylhet
Stories, memories and local news
MySylhet is for things worth sharing with the community: a memory of home, a place you found, a wedding or reunion, a video of the river in monsoon. Items for sale belong on the Marketplace instead.
Be accurate and be kind
Say what you saw, where and when. Don't post abuse, rumours about named people, or somebody else's picture or video as your own.
Videos and links
You can attach a YouTube, TikTok, Facebook or Instagram link. YouTube videos play here; links to the other apps open on their own sites.
Removing a post
You can delete your own post at any time from its card. If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us on the contact page and we'll look into it.
